Richard gives us his completely candid reaction to the cancellation of the 2008 Dakar Rally. He is not impressed, to say the least. A bit of audio garble in a few spots -- I apolgize for that and have tried to clean it up as best I can.

A Contemplative Don Hatton calls in on the eve of his departure for Europe (well after midnight, if that tells you how much sleep he'll be getting tonight). It's down to the brass tacks, as they say. Don again lets us into the mind and heart of a Dakar Privateer, and you can begin to understand just how important those of you listening to this podcast are to his (and all privateers') efforts. Can't wait to hear more, Don, and we'll be following you every step of the way. Cheers.
