Dave Lomax rings in with an update, having just met Mick for a Formula 1 style pit stop at a local service station. Mick is up against it, time wise, so no rest for the weary from here on out.
Mick's on-bike phone system is out of charge, so we won't know whether he's accomplished his goal until about 1900hrs tonight... Good luck, Mick! |

With 1200 miles to go, Mick is into the 5th day of his 5000mile, 5 day ride. He's into short loops for the duration, which will let him sneak in for a rest if need be.
